It’s just been announced that we’ve lost one of the greatest pop artists of all time. When trying to pick a song for today I waffled…”Heroes,” “Fame,” or “Ashes to Ashes,” all seeming like obvious choices. Or even “China Girl” since that’s the one I remember my Dad singing in the car the first time he really introduced me to Bowie. But considering that Blackstar was released just a few days ago, I thought I’d share one of his newer tracks. I don’t think I need to say much about this one, its soulful meditation on age death and loss are evident and incredibly poignant. RIP David Bowie. What a magnificent man…he shall be sorely missed.
