We have just over one month to go until the release of Lucius’ sophomore album, Good Grief, and I could not be more excited. Wildewoman was easily one of my favorite releases for 2013 and is still a record I revisit every few months when I’m looking for innovative and fun pop music.

Naturally, I’ve been watching their social media outlets like a hawk and yesterday yielded this pleasant surprise—a brand new music video for their single “Something About You.”

I really love the Lucius music videos overall. They all have a really great aesthetic and are quirky in a way that truly complements the playful and inventive nature of the music. Directed by Mimi Cave, the video has a surrealist edge to it that I find completely charming. I’m so onboard and cannot wait to hear the album in its entirety.
